COVID- 19: HERS HUB

RESOURCES FOR WOMEN DURING THE COVID- 19 PANDEMIC

We’re facing an unprecedented public health crisis at the moment with the rapid rise and spread of the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus). Women’s March Sydney believes in standing together in times of distress and supporting both the wider community and our most vulnerable people. Make no mistake, community issues like our current situation are without a doubt women’s issues, and we will continue to push for a safer, more just and more civil society.

Since our beginnings in 2017 we’ve worked under the HERS framework to guide our actions, and we believe the HERS principles of Health, Economic Security, Representation and Safety are more relevant during this time than ever. Over the coming weeks we’ll be using this HERS HUB to highlight issues around COVID-19 within the HERS framework, with particular attention on issues that affect women.

We believe that education and coming together are the greatest tools we have at our disposal in tough times, and hope that the following resources and our in depth coverage will encourage you to keep fighting for one another- we will be!
